	The Henry Ford Learning Series January 20, February 10, March 2, April 13, May 4 and May 11, 2012 (9am–5:30pm) in Anderson Theater Every individual can remember a teacher who made an unforgettable impact on his or her life. Teachers are passionate, hardworking, positive influences on a child’s life. Besides imparting knowledge, they subtly mold who we become. Teachers are learners, too. 	Member Appreciation Night – Driving America February 7, 2012 (6-9pm) Due to the overwhelming registration for this event, Member Appreciation Night in Driving America on February 7 has reached capacity and registration is now closed. It was necessary to limit capacity for the event to ensure that all members attending that evening would have a pleasant experience and be able to see the exhibition without too much crowding.

	Celebrate Black History! February 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26 and 29, 2012 Join us for our annual exploration of Black History in America. Fifty years ago, the very idea that an African American might be President was unimaginable. But from Africans brought here as slaves to modern-day visionaries who have changed the course of American history, the history of black Americans has been one filled with possibility and promise. As part of our annual exploration, Michigan Café is offering special menu items only available during Black History Month.

	Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition March 31-September 30, 2012 On April 15, 1912, Titanic, the world’s largest ship, sank after colliding with an iceberg, claiming more than 1,500 lives. During the 100th anniversary of the sinking, The Henry Ford will host the largest touring Exhibition of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, in Henry Ford Museum, March 31 through September 30, 2012. This Exhibition, 10,000 square feet in size, features more than 300 artifacts – 250 of which have never been displayed in Michigan. In addition, visitors will walk through extensive room re-creations, be able to get their photos taken near the full-scale replica of the Grand Staircase, as well as learn about passengers on board who had local ties to Michigan. Moving through this newly redesigned and expanded Exhibition, visitors will be taken back in time to 1912 and “travel” through the life of the Titanic — from the ship’s construction, to its on-board passengers, its ill-fated voyage, to the amazing artifact rescue efforts that involved divers returning to the sunken ship in recent years.

	Titanic Remembered: 100th Anniversary Event April 14, 2012 (7pm) On April 14, 1912, Titanic, the world’s largest ship, collided with an iceberg and sank in the early morning hours of April 15- claiming more than 1,500 lives. 100 years later, the story of the fate of this ship, its crew and its passengers still touches and fascinates people all over the world. The Henry Ford invites you to spend a special evening commemorating this event, 100 years to the day, in the inspiring setting of Henry Ford Museum. Admission to the largest touring exhibition of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, (in Henry Ford Museum, March 31 through September 30, 2012), is also included. The night will begin with a “1st class” champagne welcome, hors d’oeuvres and exclusive access to the Titanic Artifact Exhibition. Guests will then be seated in “2nd class” for a three-course dinner inspired by authentic While Star Lines menus, then dessert service (loosely based on “3rd class”). Music and entertainment will be historically themed accordingly and the evening will culminate with a reflective program at 11:40 PM, when the ship struck the iceberg. 	19th Annual Members' Holiday Lighting Ceremony November 19, 2012 (6 - 9pm) Join us as we kick off the holiday season in Henry Ford Museum. Clocktower doors open at 5:30pm, and festivities commence at 6pm as Santa makes his grand entrance into the Museum to light the towering Christmas tree. After Santa’s arrival, holiday fun continues with plenty of seasonal activities until 9pm. Tickets go on sale beginning August 29, 2012.

	Holidays in Henry Ford Museum November 23, 2012 - January 1, 2013 Come visit during our Holidays in Henry Ford Museum and celebrate the holidays. Your family will be delighted by our giant Christmas tree, visits with Santa, and two amazing train displays. Holidays at Henry Ford Museum is free to members and free with Henry Ford Museum admission.
